Reviews

Reviews provide a useful way for you to add your thoughts and opinions about any item in the library catalogue. For example, if you have read a good book, share your views about it with other Arena users.

How to read a review

1. Find the item for which you want to read a review.
2. Click the item title to view details about it.
3. Locate the Reviews section.
4. If any views are present, the most recent of them will appear here.
5. Click Show all to view other reviews for this item.
6. If you have clicked Show all to view other reviews for this item, you may click Show first to view the first of the reviews.

If you find a review that you feel is offensive or illegal, inform a member of staff.

How to add a review

When adding a review, remember that it may be read by many people. For advice about acceptable content see Community guidelines.

1. If you have not logged in to Arena, do so now.
2. Find the item you want to review.
3. Click the item title to view details about it.
4. Locate the Reviews section below the item details.
5. Click Add your review. A text box will appear.
6. Write your review in the text box. If you have written your review already in another text editor, you may copy-and-paste it into the text box.
7. Click Save to save the review, or click Cancel to cancel the review.

How to view your reviews

1. If you have not logged in to Arena, do so now.
2. Click My Pages in the menu and there click My stuff, or click My stuff in the Login panel. The My Stuff page will open, and there you find My reviews.

How to change a review

You may change any review that you have created. You may not change reviews created by anyone else.

1. If you have not logged in to Arena, do so now.
2. Click My Pages in the menu and there click My stuff, or click My stuff in the Login panel. The My Stuff page will open, and there you find My reviews.
3. Locate the item for which you have written a review.
4. Click Edit below the review.
5. Change the review as required.
6. Click Save to save the changes, or click Cancel to cancel the changes.

How to delete a review

You may delete any review that you have created. You may not delete reviews created by anyone else.

1. If you have not logged in to Arena, do so now.
2. Click My Pages in the menu and there click My stuff, or click My stuff in the Login panel. The My Stuff page will open, and there you find My reviews.
3. Locate the item for which you have written a review.
4. Click Delete your review below the review.
